What is the 30-day Village Challenge?
It is a daily practice to help you develop the habit of enjoying a life filled with more authentic relationships and a true sense of belonging. Letting go of stress, loneliness and isolation, and celebrating the joy of connection. This challenge will help you experience a new way of being in your daily life that will make you feel happier and more connected, for 30 days.
Lasting transformation happens over time, when we change our habits little by little. The challenge is designed to help you connect more with other people, with nature and with your own spiritual source, while being fully grounded and more present with yourself. At the end of the challenge, you will reach a greater sense of belonging and feel more connected.
Put simply, you will feel happier. When you feel happier, your life changes for the better, and we all benefit. Because when you are happy, you do everything better. Right?

Is this going to require that I change my habits? I kind of like my life the way it is, even if it’s not perfect
Do you really know why you feel an attachment to your conditioned life routine? Can you see that you are simply in a habit of living disconnected? Why not try something new and see how it feels for you, without giving up anything?
This challenge will not require you to remove anything from your comfortable routine. My spiritual teacher, Cheri Huber suggests that it is not always necessary to remove anything when contemplating change in our life. Instead, why not add? You will simply add a few simple actions in your daily routine that will enhance your connection to life and the people around you and increase your enjoyment of your own life. The process will give you a glimpse of what is possible when you live a more connected lifestyle. And I will coach you into taking those small steps so you remain consistent with your intention, even on days when you don’t feel like it (yes, those days will come…).
I don’t have time to do this practice every day, it’s too time consuming and it might require a lot of me
I promise, I am not asking you to become Mother Theresa, to leave the life you know and become a devoted monk or saint whose sole purpose is to selflessly serve others. The changes I am inviting you into are quite simple, quick and easy to implement and very straight forward. Some of them you are already doing, I am simply inviting you to be more mindful and intentional in your choices and actions.
It is risk free. All that is required of you is an open mind and a little bit of your time. But you might get a whole lot of fun and happiness out of it… So why not? Isn’t the payoff worth a little effort? Let’s be real: if at the end of the challenge this connected lifestyle does not feel like it is right for you, you can always go back to your routine and carry on like before.
